It is now possible to include custom code snippets such as Google Analytics in ProductLift.
Go to Customize > Advanced and add the code snippet in the area you like (head, body start, body end).

Quality communities need some ground rules for posting and commenting.
You can now add comment instructions and use Markdown to format them to your preference. These instructions pop up when a user wants to write a comment. Post instructions were already possible.

It is now possible to disable the public view of user profiles.
You can find the setting:

Administrators can now edit user profiles. This can be useful if a customer requests an update on their behalf.

Your heart may be in the right place, but sometimes a thumbs-up works better.
You can now pick an icon you like for upvoting.
Customize -> Portal info and domain

Users can now upvote and downvote directly from the homepage! You can also pick a voting icon.

When you edit a comment, you now also have a cancel button. Just a bit better UX 😀

Status and category tooltips are now easier to read with a line break in between.

Added the option to adjust the last status change without altering the history.

Check this option to replace the prior status with a new one. You keep the original status change date, for example, helpful in changing changelog items (which automatically picks up the previous status as the changelog date).

ProductLift now offers more customization options for branding. You can now start with a theme to get your design rolling.

It is now possible to set your favicon in ProductLift 💪
Go to branding in your portal settings to upload yours.

All worlds currencies have been added to use in the prioritization matrix. You can use this to prioritize ideas based on sales potential or investment.

Languages with non-latin characters (like Chinese) are now supported. You can allow ideas and comments in your native language.

In the future, the system will also be translated.

You can now choose the ordering you want to use for Kanban boards and Grouped cards.

There are multiple options to choose from.

You can also select the "Manually" option to drag-and-drop ideas to your liking.

To do this, go to the tab and click the organize button to re-order the ideas.

Sometimes a customer adds multiple feedback items in a single post. It is now possible to split these 🥳 You can split an idea into unlimited others.

This is how it works:

• The first row in the below list will overwrite the original idea. Each subsequent row is a new idea.
• The original idea keeps (internal) comments and attachments.
• The status of the original idea does not change, even if you select an alternative.
• Followers, voters, and references are copied to all ideas.

The list view of a tab is now improved.

It is now possible to show the status of ideas on tabs. This can help if you would have multiple statuses on one tab.

You can now configure ideas differently per tab. You can for example hide the description, or display the number of votes on one tab (e.g. roadmap), but not on the other (e.g. changelog).

It is now possible to add the categories of an idea on the card or list view.

This is adjustable per tab:

You can also filter using the selection box at the top of the page (if you enable it in the tab-settings).

You can now immediately determine the status and the category of the idea when creating them in bulk. This saves time when creating a lot of ideas.

Excel and CSV import is also allowing these new columns.

It is now possible to create categories in ProductLift. You can use them to organize your backlog.

• Allow users to select a category when posting
• Require users to select a category
